How do I choose the right Sash Hair set?

Do you have a lot of fine hair strands or short hair? Or, do you want to add an even more volume to your current hair?
Sash LaBelle is a one stop hair shop for all hair products and accessories. Finding the right product is always very overwhelming, but Sash is here to make this easier.

From waking up, getting the kids ready to School, preparing meals and dressing for work, the last thing a working mum will be looking for is another hustle. Sash LaBelle provides different styles that will make any woman ready in minutes, and look just FAB. Longer healthier looking hair has never been this great before. And, let's not forget, the addition of different highlights without damaging your natural hair, is the millennials goody.

When choosing your hair weight, and length, it's important to choose a set that best matches your hair type, and texture, hair Volume is as much critical. You do not need a diploma in hair styling to get that perfect look.

What is my recommended hair length before using Sash Hair

Clip-In Extensions

Your hair should be at least 18 cm in length to allow the clips to attach safely and to ensure that clips are not showing off from your skin.

Halo Volumizers

Our seamless Halo Volumizers are primarily meant to add length seamlessly for those looking for longer, fuller hair as they attach to the back of your head. That being said, it will be difficult to adjust your style if you do not have enough volume at the front of your head. We therefore recommend a minimum of Shoulder-length hair in order to seamlessly blend Halo hair with your natural hair.

Ponytail Extension

With ponytail, you need to gather most or all of your hair away from the face and secure it at the back of the head with a hair tie

Your hair should be long enough to tie into a bun or ponytail (either low, medium, or high). The most important thing to keep in mind is that there should be a bun or an existing ponytail that the Sash Hair Ponytail Extension can attach to.

 Hair Density/Thickness

People often confuse diameter and hair density to be one and the same. A person may have a thin strand width but have a thick amount of hair. Essentially, hair density refers to how much hair you actually have – the number of strands themselves and not how thick each one is. The method to determining your hair density is simple; take a handful of hair from the front of your head and gently pull it to the side. Is a lot of your scalp visible between the bunches of strands? If so, this means you have thin density, if you can barely see your scalp at all, your hair’s density is thick

What is the difference between all of the different weights?

Clip-Ins

All clip-in extensions are sold in a full set (9-10 wefts depending on the weight/set). The only difference between each set is the weight. The higher the grams, the more hair that is attached to each weft. The individual strands themselves will remain consistent in thickness.

Kindly note, the 16" Classic/Seamless Clip-Ins (140g) have the same density as the 20" Classic Clip-Ins (160g) but are less in weight due to the shorter length. Also, the 24" Clip-Ins (240g) are the same density as the 20" Classic Clip-Ins (220g) however, they are heavier due to the longer length.

Halo Extensions

Our Halo extensions are sold in a 3 piece set. The 16" Halo is the same density as the 20" Halo, however, it is less in weight due to the shorter length.

Our 20" 180g comes with a 10" wide weft that is 140 grams of hair. Our 16" 120g  comes with a 10" wide weft that is 110 grams of hair.

What is the difference between the Classic and Seamless collections?

Seamless clip-in extensions are made with a thin silicone-based weft that lays flat against your head.

Can I choose to install both Clip-In and Halo extensions?

Halo extensions are best suited for those with a thin/medium hair type that is below shoulder length. If you have a lot of hair, short hair, a blunt cut or thick hair, you will need to consider our clip-in extensions instead to achieve a natural blend. For those looking for a fuller hair, you can use halo extensions and a few clip-in extensions to achieve the seamless look.

What length should I choose?

Sash Hair extensions will appear different in lengths on every person, as we all have different body torso. If you are tall, Sashies will appear shorter on you. If you are shorter, they will appear longer on you.

In order to determine how long your extensions will be on you, we recommend measuring either 16, 20 or 24 inches down from the top of your ear with a measuring tape, as most wefts will be applied around the crown of your head. For Halo extensions, please measure from the crown of your head as the main weft will be applied here.
